Using reference

I sourced my reference from the internet, google images and blogs. I think it is not that easy as many searches bring up pictures that are not really from the Fifties, or are from the present but 'copies' of the past.  Found nothing at all in my local libraries, didn't like the 50's enough to buy a book on the subject. I spent weeks on this, although the subject was not exciting me very much. In the end I gave up and had to go back to it months later. I also found that in my local museum, a whole room is set up like a kichen in the 1950's. Unfortunately, I can't find my pictures and will have to add them later...
